Natalia Romero has defended her Master Thesis at Malaga University after her research stage at Ocean


The Master Student, Natalia Romero from MálagaUniversity (UCA), has developed her Master Thesis in the Oceanografic Center of de Málaga under the supervision of Dr. Raúl Laiz-Carrión. This MS dissertation studies the interannual variability of the trophic ecology in early life stages of Atlantic Bluefin tuna (Thunnus thynnus) in the Gulf of Mexico, using the analysis of stable isotopes of nitrogen and carbon. This study is complementary with the studies being carried out in the framework of the ECOLATUN Project (“ECOlogía trófica comparativa de LArvas de aTUN rojo atlántico (Thunnus thynnus) de las áreas de puesta del Mediterráneo-NO y el Golfo de México”: CTM2015-68473-R MINECO/FEDER). Natalia has defended her MS: “Estudio de la variabilidad interanual de la ecología trófica larvaria del atún rojo (Thunnus thynnus; Linnaeus, 1758) en el Golfo de México”.
